Controls pain and inflammation quickly and effectively. Flunix begins to act within 2 hours of application. It’s peak of action occurs between 12-16 hours of application, and the duration of activity is of 24-36 hours. For colic, it begins to relieve the pain generally within 15 minutes of its application. In locomotor system alterations, therapeutic activity lasts for up to 36 hours. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory which is four times more potent than phenylbutazone.
